Charity event raises much needed funds for BYHP & Alzheimer's Society

On the afternoon of Friday 28 February, Julie Briggs held a charity fundraising event at her home for her friends, business colleagues and networking buddies, with all proceeds to be divided equally between Banbury Young Homelessness Project (BYHP) and Alzheimer's Society.

Jacky Alder from Captain Tortue did some interactive style and fashion demonstrations, with 10% of her sales going to both charities. Plus, there was an amazing raffle with fabulous prizes from Nicholson’s Nurseries, Willow and Hen Interiors, Done and Dusted Cleaning, Georgie from Rock Choir, and The Kitchen at Farnborough. And as if that wasn’t enough, there was plenty of tea, coffee and wine too to help with the chatting, laughing and overall levels of fun.

Despite the weather’s best efforts, it was a great afternoon, attended by lots of lovely and generous ladies, plus Jamie and Jack too – they couldn’t resist being part of such a great event. The event raised £600, which is incredible - a big thank you to everyone involved for your support and kindness.
