Successful Fine Art Training for Jamie Briggs Team

Selected members of the Jamie Briggs Removals and Storage team enjoyed two days of fine art training with Nick Ducksbury. Along with some younger members of the team, we also had some senior porters attend who were keen to finely hone their skills following our recent Inner Temple move. The training consisted of hands-on learning and a greater understanding about the correct way to handle, pack, remove and store fine art items including pictures, sculptures, ceramics and other artefacts.

We were delighted to have Nick onboard to help the team. He is a self-employed art technician, who works closely with artists, curators and works from every major national collection to display installations. He has previously worked with The Tate Gallery, Buckingham Palace, Constantine, Sotheby’s, and the Imperial War Museum, to name but a few.

The training was very well received with one younger team member was heard saying that he now wants to “specialise in fine art packing, removals and storage.” A big thank you to Nick for his time and enthusiasm. If you need a highly skilled and experienced removals company to help with a forthcoming museum, gallery, historic house move, library relocation or any specialist fine art storage requirements, then you know who to call!
