Rare Book dealers, Maggs Bros. Ltd. moved after 78 years at same address!

After 78 happy years at No. 50 Berkeley Square dealing with rare books and manuscripts Maggs have moved to No. 46 Curzon Street, at the northern end of Shepherd Market. This more compact premises will operate as their retail space whilst they relocate to a larger location nearby, due to open towards the tail end of 2016. Curzon street has on display a representative range of stock from each of their departments. Customers are welcome to visit and browse but need to be aware that appointments are recommended if they wish to view any specific items of stock or meet with an individual member of staff.

Maggs Bros. Ltd. continue to hold a diverse range of stock across nine different areas of expertise which can be delivered around the world. They also continue to run an international business, travelling frequently throughout the world to buy, sell and advise on individual works and collections.

Jamie Briggs said ‘It has been an honour to move such renowned rare book dealers. I t has been an amazing experience for some of our younger members of crew especially as Maggs Bros have made us so welcome. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
