Initially finding a company to help us move a large and cumbersome railway signalling collection was problematic but Dawn and the team came to our rescue. It was important to not only find a company to move these items but to know that they would be moved with care. Every step of the way the team were brilliant and put our mind at ease. On the day of moving the signalling collection the team arrived on time, were professional and really knew their stuff. Not only did they put us, as curatorial staff at ease but the donor of the collection. A great removal experience from start to finish at what could be quite a stressful time. I particularly asked Jamie Briggs Removals to quote as they were recommended by my local music shop as their preferred removers for pianos (I have a babygrand). The price was very reasonable. The service was excellent overall. My furniture was packaged substantially and neatly. They arrived promptly at both properties and nothing was too much trouble for them. I have an enormous antique wardrobe which I couldn't dismantle on my own and they said it was no trouble at all for them to dismantle and pack. Also, a bed needed taking apart that I didn't have the tools for. They were really efficient at packing and unpacking at both locations and it was a real pleasure dealing with them. The admin team were also on hand for queries and very helpful. Many thanks.

I have to say, we have been thrilled with all the help Jamie Briggs Removals have given us across 6 homes, all within one year. All the team(s) have been exceptional re timing, efficiency, cheerfulness, helpfulness and a total delight to have around. We miss them every time they leave! Mike was magnificent at heading up the teams, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The last move was to move my elderly mother and Luke was a superstar with her and with helping me get everything sorted. Domestic move (December 2023)

The removals team arrived on time and introduced themselves. They quickly prepped the area with a covering to protect our flooring and started work. During the removal they explained about an item they had found to be damaged which we were aware of but had forgotten about I appreciated they explained this though On delivery of the items to our new property they stacked everything neatly where requested . Very polite and efficient teamwork from these two.

Our Move was handled by Jamie briggs removals and storage, we had a member of the team call and give my wife and I a very competitive quote for the works. The team That arrived firstly were smart in appearance and quickly got on with the task ahead in a very methodical way, a little latter in the day a second team arrived to help with the really heavy items again smart in appearance and again worked in a methodical way. all of the staff were super polite and respectful of our furniture and alike. The handy man service that was offered was again first class. In all the team from Jamie Briggs removals and Storage made a very stressful day a lot less so. Delivering our furniture to our new home we found the same super service and care was taken by Jamie''s team. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jamie Briggs removal and storage to any of my friends. in all a first class company to deal with and the staff were a pleasure to have in our home.

What a journey - Let down by a removal firm just before house completion. Jamie Briggs stepped in at very short notice during the height of a very busy housing market due to stamp duty deadlines. Literally a week before completion due. Matched price of previous firm as goodwill gesture - which had underestimated the significant amount of contents. Wrapped and moved contents into storage with them and did extra move to split some contents to my temporary accommodation. New house purchase delayed and finally a year later they delivered my life’s possessions out of storage to Cornwall a journey of some 250 miles one way. They say moving is stressful - not with Jamie Briggs! Fantastic team - good value - so professional - no damage - easy to work with. I cannot thank the team or recommend them highly enough. You exceed realistic expectations at every stage.

The firm packed us on Thursday - they were punctual, professional and very hard working. I cannot over emphasise the care they took with our belongings - we have many delicate Japanese glasses and plates and there was not so much as a chip or a crack - they were perfect. My wife remarked more than once while we were unpacking, "they were so careful and brilliant!". They also packed very systematically which made unpacking very straightforward.

They moved us in on Friday and we had more than 25 boxes of books which were very heavy and had to be taken down from the 2nd floor of the old flat - they were very careful and happy to take this on. They were very efficient and hardworking and again there was not so much as a scratch on a piece of furniture. I would also add that for the last 45 minutes when they had worked very hard all day it started chucking it down and they had to go back and forth from the lorry to our new flat in the rain and were soaked by the time they were done - I would not have been in a good mood at that point, but they kept up the pace without complaint.

Simply put - they were outstanding in every way and went well above and beyond the call at the end. This the second time we have moved with them and they've done a brilliant job both times, I would highly recommend Jaime Briggs without any reservation.

This is the 2nd time we've used Jamie Briggs as our removal company in the last 3 years and we cannot fault them. We would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of using a removal company. Nothing is too much trouble, communication is great and the removal crew were punctual, polite and worked incredibly hard.
