Jamie Briggs was first established in February 2000 to transfer antiques and fine arts in the North Oxfordshire area. Since then, this area of the business has grown and we now provide dedicated specialist art removals/handling and shopping services for international fine art and antique dealers, galleries, auction houses and private collectors.
Whether it’s installing, moving or transporting individual art works or whole collections, treasured artworks or fragile historic precious pieces a few miles or to a different country, we have the skills and experience, security and compliance regulations necessary. Combined with the highest standards of care and commitment, we remain flexible and can adapt our service to meet your specific needs. Meet our newest Art Handler Adam Hudson.
From transportation by road, to sending your consignment by air freight or sea, nothing fazes us, as we carefully and securely wrap, pack, carry, transport, deliver or store everything from chandeliers, clocks, ornaments, paintings, artwork, as well as small and large items of antique furniture.
And thanks to our recent acquisition - Conservation Resources, we have access to the finest packing materials including gloves, paper, bubble wrap, tape, cardboard, wooden cases and crates.
Over the years, we have built an impressive reputation as one of the country’s foremost fine art and antique movers. And thanks to strong links with several prestigious auction houses, we possess the knowledge and have the experienced staff to move everything from a single item to more significant sized collections.
As well as providing you with professional handling expertise, our members also offer friendly advice, often suggesting alternative solutions to your problems. We also have a range of crates for hire and can be relied upon to deliver your items as we found them.
